Get ready for Ligaya’s 50th Anniversary by spending more time conversing with the Lord. Reflect and pray using the reflection materials in this section and let His Spirit fill you with More Joy!
The Ligaya Jubilee Cross

The Jubilee Cross symbolizes Ligaya’s 50-year journey of faith, embodying both God’s work in us and our response to His call.
The horizontal plank reflects our history and commitment, featuring “Kayo ang Aking Ligaya”, the founding prophecy that gave birth to Ligaya; the Lamb, the slain lamb that signified the covenant renewal which is the centerpiece of the celebrations; and the Jubilee logo, marking this milestone celebration.
The vertical plank signifies God’s work in establishing both Ligaya, representing all of us in the community, and Sword of the Spirit, our connection to the wider “community of communities” to which we belong.
At the very heart of the cross—where the two planks intersect—is the Lamb of God, Jesus Himself, the true center of our Jubilee and our faith.
The Ligaya Jubilee Prayer
We thank you for the call, life and mission
We acknowledge that our call and our history as a people --
We recognize that Your covenant love and mercy
This year, we stand in the middle of Time,
Grant us greater faith, the courage and wisdom
Fill us with increased hope to expand our missional reach
Give us new grace for more love
And bless us always with more joy in you and in one another
Panginoong Diyos, kayo po ang aming Ligaya, sa pang habang panahon!
Amen!

Reflection Materials
Lent 2025
This Lenten season, we are called to journey with Christ through the theme: CHRIST’S LENTEN ITINERARY: OUR JOURNEY TO JUBILEE (Integrity and Holiness, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, Hope and New Beginnings).
Inspired by the Catholic Church’s invitation to be “Pilgrims of Hope” and Ligaya’s 50th Anniversary theme of “More Joy,” we are invited to walk in the footsteps of Jesus — to journey with Him in His suffering and triumph, allowing His presence to transform our hearts.
As a covenant community, this Lenten pilgrimage calls us to reflect on the integrity of our discipleship, to seek forgiveness and extend reconciliation, and to embrace the hope of new beginnings in Christ. It is a sacred time to allow God’s grace to transform us, that we may become true ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor. 5:17-20).
Our journey will be guided by the liturgical readings of the 40-day Lenten season as the primary source of our reflections, strengthened by several community gatherings:
• The Sector Assembly on March 9 to set the direction for our Lenten reflections
• A Lenten Recollection and Men’s & Women’s Group Sharing anytime from March 10 to 29 to deepen our reflection on the theme: “Personal Journey Towards an Undivided Life in Christ.”

• The District Reconciliation Experience on March 30 (Laetare Sunday) to offer us the gift of reconciliation with the theme: “The Joy of Being One.”
• The Sector Assembly on April 13 (Palm Sunday) to welcome Jesus, Our King, with the theme, “Blessed is the King who comes!”
• The Ligaya Triduum on April 17-19 to culminate our Lenten Journey
• The District Gathering on April 27 to celebrate the joy of Easter together
As we journey from Lent to Easter, we trust that the Lord is preparing our hearts for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost — a new springtime of new beginnings, deeper unity, and more joy. May this Lenten season transform our lives and lead us to a fuller experience of God’s joy as we journey together towards our 50th Jubilee in July 2025.
