Ligaya's 50th Anniversary Celebration
This year, Ligaya celebrates 50 years as a covenant community called by God to what the Church calls “missionary discipleship.”
Our journey to this golden jubilee began in 2022, with a three-year spiritual preparation for the More that God has in store for the next 50 years:
- More Power in 2022,
- More Love in 2023,
- More Reach in 2024, and now,
- More Joy in 2025.
As we commemorate this milestone year with More Joy, we are reminded that our joy is not dependent on circumstances. It is a response to the unchanging faithfulness of God, who has been our source of strength and purpose throughout these five decades. Our joy comes from knowing that He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The Highlight of Our 50th Anniversary Celebration
We rejoiced not just for a day but for an entire week! From July 13–20, 2025, Ligaya celebrated the Octave of our Jubilee with gratitude and joy. The week began with a Solemn Assembly on July 13, followed by a grace-filled Homecoming Retreat on July 16–17. Our one-week celebration culminated in a joyful Lord’s Day Celebration and Gala Reception on July 20.
But our Jubilee is not finished—it is a year-round celebration. We continue to rejoice in our Men’s and Women’s Groups, Districts, and Sectors in the months ahead, carrying the spirit of thanksgiving and mission all the way into next year. Truly, together as one Ligaya, we mark 50 years of God’s faithfulness and look forward with hope to the More He has in store for us.
